Chain Gang Parody Video
Our latest endeavour was something that was suggested in a team meeting in the spring of this year. Adam Askew wanted to do something fun that would be different than the other landscaping companies in Ottawa. He wanted to do a cover song along with dance video showing off our amazing crew. Our marketing gurus, Iain Corrigan & Stephen Lau (Salient Marketing) put together an amazing story, shot list, and re-wrote the lyrics to the classic song Chain Gang by Sam Cooke.

We filmed the video on location while building a retaining wall for a client. We have to give credit to the producers who worked around the tight work schedule of the project, and an even bigger shout out to the crew who were doing their regular jobs along with singing in-studio and acting out their scenes. When we suggested this idea to the crew they gladly volunteered to be a part of the project. As owners of the company, we were delighted that they were so forthcoming in doing something so adventurous. We couldn’t build the A&Z Interlock brand without the team we have and we could not do projects like this without their willingness to help grow our company.
Without further ado, it is our pleasure to present to you our latest creation… Chain Gang Parody by The A&Z Interlock Team! Keep reading to the end for the blooper reel.

We really had a great day of filming on location! With such an amazing bunch of guys, there is no way we could film this much and not have bonus footage of all the outtakes (and there were a lot of them). These guys gave it their all and we are so proud of them for being so talented at landscape construction, singing and dancing.
