By sealing your pavers you will maintain the original colour and finish while protecting against stains from spills and minimize any surface damage. Sealing your pavers is recommended every 3-5 years.
Weeds Ruining Your Interlock?
The gaps between the pavers are filled with polymeric sand thats function is to prevent weeds from growing between the pavers. Over time polymeric sand will break down creating empty spaces for weeds to grow. Replacement of polymeric sand is an easy project.
Replace Damaged Polymeric Sand:
- Pressure wash out the old sand and let dry
- Sweep sand in the joints
- Lightly mist the new sand with water
This process will fill the gaps between pavers and prevent any weeds from growing.
In the last five year, polymeric sand has gotten a lot better thanks to modern chemistry. It lasts longer and is far stronger than the products used in the past.
